The event was attended by AmCham Romania members based in Cluj-Napoca and members of the local business community and occasioned an interactive discussion with Cluj-Napoca General Mayor Emil Boc on how Cluj-Napoca can continue to develop as a regional business hub.
H.E. Ambassador Hans Klemm opened the roundtable discussion emphasizing the economic priorities for the U.S.–Romania Strategic Partnership and the AmCham President Anda Todor outlined AmCham’s current areas of focus, and reiterated AmCham’s support in advancing the business priorities of the members of our community.
The U.S. Embassy and AmCham Romania acknowledged the important role that the vibrant business community in Cluj-Napoca plays in developing the city into a regional business hub and committed to replicating similar occasions for dialogue between business and the administration.
